Great for ice boating December 30, 2009 Ice Man (New England) I needed to protect my brain cells while ice boating. I used to wear just a baseball cap until my iceboat flipped over and popped my head. This helmet comes with different thickness pads to insert to make a firm fit against your head, and does not obstruct your view; perfect for rocketing across the ice!!
5***** STAR product and FIVE ***** Star Service December 2, 2009 Putnam A. Yost (Tokyo) I look for a long time for a Great helmet for my 4.5 year son. Tried pro tech but was too big for his head. Found this and it works GREAT. Very Happy and his mother( a M.D.) is very pleased.
thank you
Basic, gets the job done November 20, 2009 J. Robinson (los angeles, CA USA) This helmet is a no-frills brain bucket. I use it for biking around a busy city because I like the extra protection it gives. It's more like an army helmet than a bike helmet, but that's fine by me. It looks exactly as advertised, and the large size fits my big noggin just fine. It's simple and gets the job done. I'm thinking about putting a thin beanie on underneath and attacking the ski slopes this winter.
A helmet he will actually wear. November 2, 2009 A. Murray (Burlington, Vermont United States) My 12 year old son is too cool to wear a helmet. We've had several discussions about the importance of wearing a helmet when he rides his bike to school and he always tried to sneak away in the morning without it. Finally, it dawned on me to let him pick out a helmet that he thought was cool and would wear. Darn it if he has not worn this new helmet every day since it arrived!
Geat Helmet September 23, 2009 IAMSLICK You can tell this helmet is built with a lot of quality and is very safe. I bought it for my 10 year old son (4ft 6in, 65 lbs), and it fits him very nicely. I think he will be able to wear it for a few years too, which is always nice. It comes with extra padding that you can add for a more snug fit if you want to.
You can't go wrong with this helmet. It is the IN style right now, and accomplishes that without compromising safety and quality.
